"Big John" has been used in all aspects of ranching on the Matador. From catching and tying down cattle in the brush to dragging calves to the fire, he's trotted across plenty of rough coutnry, creeks and steep terrain. He has been heeled on and headed on in the practice pen but hasn't been hauled to any team ropings yet. Big John stands good in the box and shows a lot of promise as a nice head horse. He's easy to shoe, ties well, and is good to haul. He has doctored cattle on wheat pasture, loaded cattle and has been used in ranch rodeos.
