From the famous Colonel Freckles line, this 10-year-old ranch gelding is in the sweet spot of his life where he has done it all, yet still has many years ahead of him. His disposition is remarkably low-key but he is always able to match the skill of the rider. Top Gun is happy working all day in 4x4 low but gladly shifts to turbo when asked...then it’s right back to chill. This black beauty is certainly one of those extra special horses that makes us proud to have in our family sale.
