Teddy Bear is a 4 year old Draft cross gelding that rides and drives nice and quiet. At 16.1h, he has been driven as a team mowing hay, hauling manure, and in an eight-horse hitch, discing the fields. He has been on the state highway with the carriage and is really good with traffic; he has been to town many times. He has seen a lot of miles on the open trails, overnight camping trips, or just riding out alone. Teddy Bear side passes, opens and closes gates, and will be the first horse to greet you in the pasture. He will also side pass to a mounting block, or tap his ankles and he will lay down to mount! Teddy Bear drags the tarp, carries flags, loves getting bathed, and stands well for the farrier. He rides bareback and will hauls around 3+ kids at a time, taking it in stride. My 5 year old son rides him all over the farm and arena. Teddy Bear would make a super family horse or take him to the mountains as a pack horse, he will do it all!
