We have owned and raised Buckwheat’s dam, grand-dam, and great-grand-dam. His disposition and mindset is not an accident. He has been earning his keep on the ranch for the last 2 years. From mowing hay and hauling manure to doctoring, sorting, and pushing calves to the feeders – he does it all! Buckwheat is never challenged by an obsticle, will pull hard on the horn and has had colts tied to him. He works in harness as a team or as a single. He is great on the trails and has ridden in rough country. Buckwheat is a seasoned, solid gelding that has been started correctly with a great handle, takes his leads, and has a smooth turn around. 15HH. 100% sound.
